For a small pharma company headquartered in Europe, we designed, developed, deployed and helped monitor a native app for iPads to be used for i-detailing.
We designed the wireframe, built interactivity features and integrated various other digital assets such as KOL videos, 3D MOA videos and annotated references as well as tracking and measurement metrics into the app.
The app allowed reps to choose the name of the customer and access previous history of interactions. It also provided suggestions on next meeting date and topics for discussions.

Reps could also customize their presentation by selecting slides before the call.
Data from the usage of the app and the interactivity questions were tracked and analysed and outcomes were used for assessment of skills and other productivity measures such as ROI based on sampling.

We built an interactive, 3D virtual environment-based e-learning portal for a pharma company that wanted to launch a new product to its sales force
The e-learning portal was designed, developed and integrated into the client’s existing Learning Management System
The virtual environment was that of an ‘academy’ and it allowed users to explore any of the buildings within to begin their learning experience
Users could navigate their way to any learning module and could also view other users and chat with them in real-time. Users could also chat with experts or trainers

All references were annotated and provided in a separate section and references could also be accessed from various modules Progress of the user and time spent across the academy and within a module could be tracked
Assessments would open only when the module was completed
Assessment tools could be accessed over PCs, tablets or mobile phones and assignments could be submitted online
Supporting material such as disease mechanism and 3D MOA videos as well as KOL videos and patient journey animations were incorporated across modules

An interactive, consumer website was developed for providing information about the symptoms and treatment options for a rare disease.
The website was designed and developed by us using the client’s Content Management System
Responsive design principles were employed to ensure that the website was easy to use and navigate across devices such as PC, tablet/iPad or mobiles phones/iPhones
The website was a social media platform allowing users, patients and care-givers to interact with one another and exchange stories

Users could create their own unique stories using tools provided on the website based on video segments that could be pieced together to form a story
Users could also send in their articles about lifestyle management, diet, exercise etc. and these were published once a month
Other useful, interactive elements included on the website were: 2D animated game, disease risk calculator, symptom tracker, checklist for doctor meetings and a patient medication adherence app that could be used on a mobile phone or tablet

The app was designed and developed by us and deployed through the iStore
Physicians were provided ids and passwords that they could give to their patients who could download the app from the iStore on to their iPads and/or iPhones
Apart from tracking the patient’s symptoms on a daily basis, the app reminded the patient about taking the medication at the appropriate times daily and also to refill his/her prescription
The app also allowed the patient to take an asthma test based on 4-5 questions with gradient responses

The app reminded the patient to take the test on regular intervals and e-mail the results to the physician
The app also captured weather conditions of the city/town that the patient resided in
An Augmented Reality feature was built into the app to allow patients to scan a special sticker on the new pack of the medication so that they could determine if the medication was genuine or spurious
The data from the app was tracked and analysed to understand how consumers use the app and also to track their medication adherence habits
Based on medication adherence habits, patients were sent educational material about the need to adhere to medication

The app allowed visitors to hold their iPads or iPhones over the image of the device and it brought the device to life
Visitors could view the device in 3D and manipulate the image to view other sides

Users could also ‘touch’ hotspots depicted by red or blue pulsating dots
The red hotspots revealed how that part of the device functioned
The blue hotspots revealed more information about the selected section of the device

We started with an initial analysis of the social environment around the health area that the brand represented
This included selecting 10 social media sites that were most relevant to the brand and recording the daily conversation of hundreds of users, analyzing the sentiment and developing personas
Further, digital footprint of two of the closest competitors were mapped to understand their level of engagement
New KPIs and measurement metrics were were defined

The existing campaign assets were tweaked slightly to ensure alignment with brand objectives
New content on at five sites was updated on a monthly basis
Surveys were prepared and run on a monthly basis
Data from all five sites was collated and analysed and monthly reports were prepared for various metrics
